Soaring above Snoqualmie Valley! Helicopter Tour from Seattle to Snoqualmie Valley
Taking a Helicopter flight at sunset from Seattle one winter night was a dream! Seattle is so beautiful and I’ve never had the chance to fly in a helicopter till now. It was so worth it!
Soaring above Snoqualmie Valley, Seattle and beyond was epic. The gorgeous colors of a winter’s day fading light with a fresh blanket of snow made this an unforgettable experience.
If you have ever thought about taking a Seattle helicopter flight I highly recommend it. Please respect the wishes of the Snoqualmie Tribe and steer clear of the sacred site of Snoqualmie Falls.
Our flight was planned in my head for years. But I needed the right combination of snow cover and a bluebird day! Thankfully the weather came and we were able to make it happen. For those wondering-in the PNW (even in North Bend/Snoqualmie Valley) we rarely get a full dump of snow followed by beautiful clear days. Often our weather systems “hang around” for a bit and by the time it clears up the snow may have already melted.
